Warranty Terms & Conditions

This warranty is valid for 18 months from the date of completion of the work specified in your original contract.

Repairs for peeling, blistering, or chipping paint caused by defective workmanship.

To make a claim under this warranty, you must:

  1. Pay the full contract price and provide proof of payment.
  2. Retain a copy of the original contract.

Promise of Quality

Exclusions from Warranty

  • Any work where Lagunas Painting did not supply both the paint, materials, and labor.
  • Any work performed by someone other than Lagunas Painting.

  • Surfaces made of or containing galvanized metal, steel, copper, or aluminum.
  • Horizontal surfaces or areas that collect moisture, such as:
    • Decks
    • Stairs
    • Porches
    • Roofs
    • Gutters

  • Changes in paint color or finish due to environmental factors. (Discuss options with your painter for better solutions.)

  • Abnormal use or misuse.
  • Homeownerโ€™s decision to forgo proper surface preparation (e.g., skipping primers).
  • Peeling of existing paint layers applied before our work.
  • Structural defects, such as:
    • No drip edge above fascia or windows.
    • Areas where siding meets the ground and is exposed to debris or water.
  • Settling or movement (e.g., foundation settling).
  • Exposure to moisture or water sources, including:
    • Pools
    • Irrigation systems
    • Nearby water features.
  • Abrasion, mechanical damage, or abrasive cleaning.
  • Damage caused by chemicals, cleaning agents, or exposure to harmful substances.

  • Damage from extreme weather (hail, wind, etc.), fire, flood, acts of God, vandalism, or other circumstances outside our control.

Disclaimer

This limited warranty is the only express warranty provided by Lagunas Painting and supersedes all other warranties, whether express or implied. It applies only to services provided to the original purchaser named in the contract.

  • Lagunas Painting is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages exceeding the original contract price.
  • Modifications to this warranty must be made in writing and signed by all parties.
